Added information about the upcoming workshop, Legal Interpreting: An Information Day, on the Calendar Page and on the front page.

Removed the group picture from the front page. Now when you roll over "welcome," there is no change to the pie logo on the right. We are hoping to update this with a better group photo. If you have any pictures of yourself that you'd like to share on the pie website, especially pictures of you interpreting, please send a digital copy to Tim at piewebcrafter@tds.net. Thanks!

Removed links we aren't using (Get T & D mailings, workshops, and CEUs) from the menu at left.

Steve found another "Inc." that needed to be removed. If you notice any PIE, Inc., or Professional Interpreting Enterprise, Inc. on the site, we are trying to remove all of the Incs. Please let me know! Tim

Made updates to Resources page.

  • under continuing education requirements, removed broken RID links, and replaced with a link to the RID education page,
  • under continuing education requirements, removed the link to NAD's NIC page; it re-directed to NAD's main page,
  • under deaf and hard of hearing people, added a link to the Deaf Bilingual Coalition, DBC,
  • under other disability issues, removed the first link to an ADA site; it linked to a page not found page,
  • under mental health resources, changed all links so they open in a new window.

Corrected a factual error in one of the Deaf Mentor biographies.

Added bios to the ASL Mentoring Program (AMP) page.

Updated the AMP page, including bios of our Deaf Mentors, an enrollment form, and our rate.

Added a statement at the top of this page to encourage feedback. Try the link up there!

Removed the link to the WisRID Legal Interpreting info on the PIE News page.

Updated all pages so the link underlines stay visible, even after you click on them. They used to disappear after they had been used so the link looked like normal unlinked text.

Added video phone info to the welcome page and to the info page.

Updated info on the ASL Mentoring Program (AMP) page. Biographical updates to come soon.

Added an announcement for the Deaf Bilingual Conference (Milwaukee, June 27-30) on the calendar page, including a link to a letter from Jason Altmann to interpreters!

Added a What's New link to the menu bar on theleft.

Corrected an error that made the menu on the resources page block the page.

In the Links in the side box and bottom of most pages:

  • Removed link to legal training page,
  • Changed Link to Resources or Resources/Links
  • Updated Webcrafter e-mail address.

Corrected errors that had new and updated webpages linking incorrectly. (Hope I got them all.)

Deleted the Completely Unrelated Sports Site from the Links/Resources page.

What's new is What's New! You can come here to see the latest (or previous) updates to the website.

In addition to What's New?, the following updates are new today:

  • The welcome page has been updated,
    • The News link has been removed. You can still link to the News page inside the website from the column on the left.
    • A Resources link has been added; this links you to the Links, or newly renamed Resources page,
    • The Training and Development link has been shortened to just say Training,
    • We are using a new font on the welcome page,
  • The Calendar has been updated.

You'll also notice that there are no cool rollover graphics for the Resources Link or the What's New Link yet. We are working on coming up with new pictures for those links as well as new pics for the other links. Keep watching!
